Hello,

Is there anyway to "integrate" source safe into enterprise manager for sql
server. I just can't live without sourcesafe in my VB projects...but when it
comes to things like table/sproc changes, we burn mountains of time trying
to figure out what has changes and who changed what.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thank you for posting in the community!

First of all, I would like to confirm my understanding of your issue. From
your description, I understand that you need to integrate VSS into SQL
Server Enterprise Manager, so that it can do source control on tables and
stored procedures. If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to
let me know.

As far as I know, this is not possible. VSS cannot be integrated into SQL
Server. We don't have such an add-in to achieve that.

If you have any suggestions which can make our future products better,
please feel free to send email directly to ***@microsoft.com. Your
suggestions will be highly appreciated.

If anything is unclear, please feel free to reply to the post.

Hi Paul,

Since Microsoft hasn't provided such add-in, some third party company has
the products to achieve that. Here is a link for your reference:
